Where are you located?

Can I purchase an item online for in-store pickup instead of getting it shipped?

No - All orders placed online will be shipped to the shipping address provided during checkout. If you would like to pick up something in person, please purchase it in person at one of our physical stores.

 

Do you ship outside of New York?

Yes - We process and ship all orders within the United States via USPS. We do not ship internationally at this time. 

  

Why was my order canceled?

There are several reasons for an order being canceled. In the event that an item becomes unavailable or the form of payment used requires additional review, District One NY reserves the right to cancel your order or items within your order at any time. We will provide a full refund, back to your original form of payment. You will be notified via email of any orders or items we cannot fulfill and have refunded. Please note that we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, for any reason, at our sole discretion.

 

What happens if my package is returned to District One?

If your order is returned to us, you will be refunded the original purchase price, minus a 20% restocking fee and the original shipping fee.

 

What is your return policy?

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. We value your satisfaction and want to ensure you make informed decisions when shopping with us. If you have any inquiries regarding sizing or the condition of a product on our site, we encourage you to experience it firsthand at one of our physical stores or reach out to us before making a purchase. For online purchases, we kindly request that you proceed only when you are completely certain about the product and the size you've selected. Given the dynamic nature of market prices for our footwear and pricing variances across sizes of the same product, we we are unable to accommodate returns or exchanges.

 

Are all the items you sell authentic?

Yes. At District One NY, authenticity is our #1 priority. We only sell 100% authentic products and strictly prohibit the sale or purchase of any counterfeit or fake items. Every product available through our platform is meticulously inspected by our in-house authentication specialists before being made available for sale.

 

Are all the items you sell brand new?

All products we sell on our online web-store are brand new unless specified otherwise. 

We sell a combination of both used and new products in our physical stores.

 

When will you get more of an item that is sold out?

We cannot predict when a shoe will be back in inventory or available in a specific size. We do however do our best to curate and source the most sought after and in demand product.

 

Do you accept trades or size swaps?

We only accept trades and size swaps in person. Size swaps cost a minimum of $30+ and can vary based on pricing variances across sizes and our existing inventory supply/demand needs.

 

Does District One buy shoes? Where/how do I sell you shoes? 

Yes. We buy more shoes than anyone in NYC at our physical store at 114 Stanton Street, New York, NY 10002. To sell us shoes, just bring them in for an instant quote and get paid out on the spot. 

 

What kind of shoes do you buy? Will you buy my shoes?

We buy the same shoes we sell in both New and Used (but wearable) condition. We buy any shoe we believe we can sell through at least one of our in-store or online platforms.

 

Do you offer consignment?

We do not consign shoes. We buy them outright and pay our sellers for them on the spot. No waiting for the item to be sold to get paid out.

 

Who sets the prices?

Prices are based on what the shoes sell for at fair market value.  We price items to move quickly.
